“Texas is Pac-Man”
[Guest post by Aaron Worthing]
That’s a quote from a post sharing more startling facts about the economic engine that is Texas.
Hey if this keeps up, maybe Susana Martinez will proudly proclaim, “Si, Tejana Susana.”
(And no, I don’t speak Spanish, so I am only kind of sure that is right.)

There is one major problem for Texas and that is its long border with Mexico. My dad lives in Harlingen, TX and with the Narco gun fights erupting now in Matamoros, which until recently has been relatively safe from drug war related violence, things look very grim and the economy along the boarder with be negatively effected on both sides. It is sad as I really enjoyed my time over there down thru the years. It looks like it is just too dangerous to venture over there anymore.

Aaron Worthing (e7d72e) — 10/21/2010 @ 9:42 amI think the No Tejana Susana meant “No [to] Texan Susan”
Si needs the little accent thing on it to mean Yes… otherwise it means if…
But since I’m too lazy to add it, just assume I mean “yes”…
“Si soy Tejana Susana” means yes I am Susan the Texan… which would play into her opponents characterization her as Texan carpetbagger…. regional prejudices trumping common sense economics.
“Si Susana” makes a nice chant
SteveG (cc5dc9) — 10/21/2010 @ 11:40 amTexas doesn’t sell in New Mexico. I like SteveG’s “Si Susana” but I’m also happy with her conservative message and current logo: Susana!
DRJ (d43dcd) — 10/21/2010 @ 2:56 pm“Si Susana” sounds great.
Then again, Susan sounds excellent without any help from me. A clear spoken, to the point, leader. No wonder the response is so aimless.
