Andrew Breitbart About to Make Brad Friedman’s Life a Lot More Difficult

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 12:01 am

Seen on Twitter tonight from Andrew Breitbart:

So excited to do something out of ordinary. Am re-following @thebradblog. Things are gonna get fun for @ericboehlert’s BFF. #pimphoaxwee!

You can’t see a message like that, about a guy like Brad Friedman, and not want to find out more. So: within minutes I was on the phone with Breitbart.

Sounds like he has a heck of an interesting story coming. You could even call it . . . a bombshell.

I can’t get any more specific than that, other than to say: hey, Brad? You know that thing you’ve been trying to hide from people? The thing you desperately don’t want people to know about? Yeah, that.

Sorry, dude. It’s coming out.

UPDATE: I’m just messing with Friedman, of course.

Or am I???

  2. LOL. This had better be good with a promo like that.

  4. That’s a good question, yarrrr.

    I would think so.

There’s a couple of hints strewn about, but you would have to know how to interpret them. Later I will reveal what the hints were.

  6. Well, the ‘bombshell’ reference seemed interesting, so I googled, and it turned up a brad story that is amazingly kooky. I only link this because it shows what a nut Brad is. Pretty sure the bombshell is a pretty girl. Who knows? Maybe he rented one while passing through one of ACORN’s Whore Advisory Counsels?

    Comment by Dustin — 10/7/2010 @ 12:29 am

  7. Dustin:

I can’t say whether that’s it or not. I can say, as I say in the UPDATE, that I am obviously messing with Brad in this post (or am I?). Whether it’s really a deep dark secret, or something he OUGHT to be worried about people knowing (but isn’t), I don’t know.

Me, I find it disturbing either way.

  9. Anytime Andrew Breitbart decides to make someone’s life more difficult, it’s usually a good day for conservatives. (And seeing far-left liars and/or hypocrites getting their rear ends handed to them is always fun.) Heh heh heh. Can’t wait.

Is that because I quoted Socrates in my comment above?

I have a feeling we may all be quoting Socrates soon re Friedman.

I frankly don’t think twice about it and their is about nothing I am cowered over here as you like to allege. Or to use your line of reasoning to most everything you disagree with — PROVE IT!!!!!

As I have repeatedly said, I go by what I read and then draw my conclusion. Some, look at who posts, and then reverse engineer their conclusion.

    Good day counselor.

i am convinced you are just f—ing around. But its US you are f—ing with not Friedman.

Joking aside, you are waaay too obscure. my guess is you assign a level of knowledge of socrates to me that i just don’t have.

I will say honestly i didn’t even catch the semi-socratic comment toward the beginning (i don’t think socrates quite said what you said in comment 1, but its a very similar sentiment). maybe i picked it up subconsciously and then yes, used it in my own post.

i have defended this guy as excusably ignorant before. but what is not excusable is to be so unaware of your own ignorance.

i mean there is lots of crap we don’t know. alot we probably can’t know. the trick, to paraphrase another philosopher, is to know what you know, and don’t know what you don’t know.

Anyway, i have sworn off guessing on the matter and am just waiting for it to come out.

  44. Friedman should confess and break the story himself, to reduce the damage.

    Comment by roy — 10/7/2010 @ 1:54 pm

well, unless he has two dark secrets and doesn’t want to confess to the wrong one.

“gee, which do i confess to? the dead hooker in the basement? Or that i am also a secret agent for Iran?”

    Comment by Aaron Worthing — 10/7/2010 @ 2:03 pm

  46. Friendman should confess to the deepest, darkest secret first. That way nobody will pay attention when Breitbart reveals that Friedman secretly filled a rented car with regular gas when it was supposed to take premium.

    Comment by roy — 10/7/2010 @ 2:05 pm

  47. They should change the #pimphoaxwee! tag to Pimposium.

References could be: bombshell, pimp, coming out, unspeakable acts, and Socrates. Maybe skepticism.

His repeated attacks on anyone who points out ACORN’s voter fraud (they have many actual convictions for election fraud) combined with the fact he drafted 2 articles of impeachment for Kucinich, against Bush, for ‘tampering with free elections’ shows he’s taken a serious issue and exploited it in a highly unserious and partisan manner.

His self edited wikipedia entry calls him a ‘champion of fair elections’, but that’s a load of crap. He’s a champion of covering up election thieves and projecting their crimes onto Bush and Rove.

What could possible embarrass someone like Brad? Some crazy sex scandal?

i am thinking he and Rush Limbaugh will be revealed to be lovers.

    Comment by Aaron Worthing — 10/7/2010 @ 2:11 pm

  49. Just an example of Brad being pathetic. I noticed his wikipedia page left out the miles high information about what a crazy nut Brad is, while basically being nothing but a collection of lefties praising brad. It read exactly like an insecure weirdo making his own wikipedia page, so I checked and found out, yep, that’s what it largely is.

Yeah, Brad, you’re really a champion of the fair election when you cover up dozens of election fraud convictions and mock anyone who takes the matter seriously, while projecting voting fraud onto the right.

Show me a single example of a right leaning organization with as many election fraud convictions and fraudulent voter registrations as ACORN, and I will eat my own head.

Just make up some garbage claim that sounds like it might pertain to some scandal, to sound smart, like I did. Like, just say you know Brad Freidman was that crazy dude living with Glen Greenwald posting as Ellison and Ellers. Or say Socrates was actually just a commenter on Brad Friedman’s blog spilling the beans on some disturbing connections with a con man.
