New Hot Russian Spy

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 7:16 am

Via Jammie Wearing Fool comes this story of another suspected spy for Russia.

Above: This woman was accused of doing something spy-related

I didn’t quite follow what she is accused of having done; it had to do with night vision goggles or something. What amazed me is how she flew under the radar after having had a lead role on “Friends” for so many years.

  1. We need more hard hitting journalism like this on the site. Thank you.

  2. I felt I had to post this because of the vital
Importance of the issue of whatever it was she was accused of doing.

  4. What kind of boat is that to the left of the woman in the top picture?

  5. There’s a boat in that picture?

Probably John Kerry attempting to be inconspicuous.

  6. It’s pretty smart to use attractive women. I’m sure that has always been the best way to ensure an effective spy.

Nonetheless, Russia’s been overstepping its bounds lately and I hope this is used for some kind of diplomatic benefit aside from getting some innocent 80 year old guy out of Siberia.

Funny how we never get leaks about Russia’s intel programs.

  8. Ruling out in AZ per FOX. Mixed results. Apparently no injunction to stop enforcement at this time.

  10. fox news is saying that the judge stopped the police from determining immigration status, and the part blocking employers of illegals. That list is not necessarily exhaustive.

  11. ah, and yahoo’s got some more details.

This would be a good time to point out that often the mainstream media is incompetant in reporting on legal news. I mean that not about bias, but basic competance about knowing what has actually happened.

  12. “…”There is a substantial likelihood that officers will wrongfully arrest legal resident aliens under the new (law),” Bolton ruled. “By enforcing this statute, Arizona would impose a ‘distinct, unusual and extraordinary’ burden on legal resident aliens that only the federal government has the authority to impose.”"

It’s a Clinton appointed judge, and I think it’s informative for how Bolton will rule on the case.

It’s funny how ripeness works. Instead of waiting for some of these problems to occur, now the democrats can just pretend the law did something it did not do. Requiring people driving a car to have a driver’s license is not a ridiculous burden, and while it’s probably true that someone would have been arrested for failure to show citizenship (by lacking that license) that’s not exactly a huge change.

Perhaps Arizona can come up with a different law that handles the issue after arrests.

  13. Hey guys this was a VERY important thread that you’ve hijacked to talk about some obscure legal case in Arizona.

Those pictures need to be inspected very carefully for possible clues and I for one intend to do my part.

  21. I think that Russia is flooding America with its stripper-spies. They will bring down america by robbing men of their disposable income and make them lose interest in marriage sex….no, wait – maybe america is being overrun by Russian Wife-Spies!!! They marry americans – act all happy and sexually interested – then by becoming “american” they adopt the attitudes of american wives and demand housekeepers, more money, cut out the sex and complain incesantly. Ah HA! Thus souring American men on…..America!! What devious brilliance!
