Not my thing. I would, much, much more, have preferred mama dressed that way and doing the dance on the table.

I’m guessing thats in a country with Carnivale and the kids sister was a dancer in the parades and thats where the moves came from, watching her practice hour after hour.

What is the matter with you folks? Sure, my white-bread self isn’t wild about these particular dance moves, but this type of dancing is part of this child’s culture. If he (she?) was sitting at a piano, we’d think the child was another Mozart.
It is apparent that this child has a great gift. I sincerely hope that his parents recognize this and encourage him as he grows.

It almost looks like a doctored video, altered with special-effects software.
Assuming he’s not a midget or dwarf, or suffering from an odd genetic condition that prevents a person from evolving past a child-like physical shape, he shows an awareness and level of coordination that seems well past his age level.

Mark – He’s just aping moves he’s either seen other people performing or has watched on TV. Believe me he has no idea what the moves mean, just like the toddler who blurts out in polite company the words his father uttered when he bashed his thumb with a hammer.

That said, he does have a remarkable sense of rythym. I now at least one ball room instructor who would have wished I had at least half of the rythym this kid does.

The kid is from Brasil, people. They love to dance. It’s called SAMBA – their national dance.
Nothing unsettling or disturbing about it. And he/she is awesome at it.

The kid’s awesome.
The caretaker who seems to have missed that overly full diaper, not so much.

Very unsettling. In fact, on the Tonetta scale of 1 to 10, this ranks about an eight.

All that’s missing are some dollar bills and an audience of barely dressed baby girls…

Brazilian portuguese in that song. The accent smacks me in the face.
And the caption is also.
I rate it cute. In 20 years will probably show up on a Brazilian game show dancing.
