Incident at MacDill AFB

Fox News reports there has been an incident at McDill MacDill AFB in Florida:
“Base public affairs officer Senior Airman Katherine B. Holt reports a man and woman were unable to show proper identification Monday evening, and their vehicle was searched. Security found military-style gear and weapons in the sport utility vehicle but no explosives. Holt says she didn’t know how many weapons were removed but they were rifle-type.”
Both persons were in custody and presumably being questioned.

I honestly didn’t know when I posted the earlier one, JD – but wanted to perform the obligatory MFM knee – jerk/Eric Holder defense just in case they happened to be of a Muslim origin.

“Officials at MacDill Air Force Base have identified two suspects arrested Monday for attempting to get into the base with fraudulent identification, one of whom was AWOL.
The man is identified as Christopher Paul Kilburn, Alpha Company, 1-16th 1st Infantry Division, of Fort Riley, Kansas. The woman is Micah Noel Goodier of Palm Beach, Florida.
Kilburn, who is an active duty soldier with AWOL status, is charged with desertion.
Charges against Goodier are pending.”
