  1. Watching the images reminded me of Neil Young’s 1983 video “Wonderin”, shot around Los Angeles. Neil’s got more hair than Mickey in his video, but I don’t know if that’s an asset or not

  2. I think you’re right that Neil’s hair might not be an asset. Maybe Mickey should add the Shocking Pinks in a follow-up.

  3. It’s a complete steal from Paul Wellstone’s first television ad. I forget the year.

    Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It was a very effective ad.

  5. Short, sweet and straight to the point. All pols running for office should be legally limited to 45 second campaign ads. If you can’t get your point and platform across in that time, then you have no business running. We’re a busy public and way short of patience – we’ve been bled dry by long-winded manipulative gasbags. Put a time cap on and the more direct and bottomlined the pol will be as well as not wasting the time to try and BS the voters.

    And 100% agree on immigration. close the border. i mean, really close it. then yes, amnesty. i ain’t even scared to call it amnesty.
