  1. Stephanopoulos will always be a democrat political operative posing as a televisiom journalist. He marches to the current regime’s tune. When viewed in this light, he provides lukewarm entertainment not to be taken seriously and rarely worthy of one’s time.

  3. Georgie just sat there and spit out smear after smear after smear.

  4. The real problem is, O’Keefe followed George’s lead and let his own self-importance take him off message. Instead of saying “I’ve never intentionally broken a law,I had no idea it was illegal to enter a Federal Building under false pretense. Though you’d think the staffers for Senator Liandreu who lied to consituents about the phones not working entered that same building under pretenses that were at least equally false would be arrested, too. At least I didn;t lie to the people who were paying my salary.”

Instead, he got wrapped up in himself.

Or, how about this: “George, those allegations have all been disproven, and I really don’t want to waste your viewers’ time re-hashing old slanders when I’ve given you proof that the Census Bureau is ripping them off for at least $48 million.”

Instead, we got “glory” and his own non-sense that George twisted him up with. Stefie was more prepared for the interview than O’Keefe was — his line about having challenged the White House on Acorn was obviously stocked up for that exact reason.

O’Keefe has guts and talent and he can have a huge impact, but he’s got to get over himself and understand that what he says and produces will be parsed and nullified if Steffie et. al find any quibbles.

  8. Did we see the same video, Patterico? God help me if I, as cross-examiner, let an opposing witness make his case the way O’Keefe did.

  9. I thought it was incredibly amusing that someone like Snuffleupagus would have the audacity to try to advance the position that being a political partisan disqualifies one from being an actual journalist.

  10. Totality agree JD (@9), the hypocrisy that was emanating from Stephanopoulos… ayi-yi-yiiii.

Loved the “I investigated ACORN, too” moment. Did a bang-up job there, George; had them shaking in their corrupt little boots — not!

In the end though, I thought Mr. O’Keefe kept his cool. When contrasted too Stephanopoulos’ behavior and professionalism, Mr. O’Keefe actually looked better, IMHO.

no kidding – I wonder if he only agreed to the interview if he was given time at the end uninterupted –

  12. If okeefe was too adept at pointing out georges hypocracy and defending himself he would never get on national tv again unless it was fox news. The host is there to discredit any guest who is not a liberal leftist.Suffering insults and misrepresentations is the price of admission.

  13. George Steponpoopoulos tries his best to give one the impression he’s a fair, open-minded individual, but he’s far from it. His repetition of “but you committed a crime”, when the real story is how the government destroyed the evidence that might expose just how politically motivated (and punitive) the entire fiasco was, as was evident in the official court document the U.S. attorney put his signature on.

He continues spouting the usual disproved allegations favored by the left.

Bottom line… can you remember the last time little Georgie – or any other partisan shill – ever questioned the motivation or the methods of a leftwing journalist. I certainly can’t.

  14. A beautiful byproduct of this is the lefty heads exploding at the fact that O’Keefe was even allowed to appear on network television, their protected bastion of liberalism.

Brad Friedman is starting a hate campaign on Munchkinopolis for not regurgitating the ridiculous after-the-fact fabricated Boehlert/Friedman interpretation of the ACORN tapes with which he harassed the NY Times into submission to make him go away.
