Maddow Wants an Apology

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow wants an apology because Senator Scott Brown is making money from talking about her.

Jules Crittenden asks: “Wait a minute! Isn’t that pretty much what Maddow does with pols?”

Heh.

  1. Maddow fired back yesterday with a newspaper ad chastising Brown for inventing “scary fake threats to run against.”

At least Maddow is admitting that it would be scary to America to have her run for Senate. Most progressives do not have that level of self-awareness. Heh!

  2. Maddow might be the only woman on TV that can man up to Scott Brown.

  3. I just have to laugh every time I think of some progressive television diva like Rachel Maddow or Chrissy Matthews running for public office. These folks are so damn thin-skinned that at the first sign of criticism they get the vapors and take to their fainting couches. I seriously doubt that Maddow will end up going for the Mass Dem Senate nomination. She would have to leapfrog way too many career pols who have been patiently waiting in line behind Kennedy and Kerry.

  5. Nothing makes someone look like a loser quite like the unjustified outraged apology demand.

She really looks like a cracker jack player here, and Brown looks like a clever guy.

  6. From Maddow (her second sentence is poorly worded but I assume she means that she has no intention of running for office, period.)

Maddow said Brown never called her to ask if she was planning to run against him. In the ad and on her show this week, Maddow said she’s not taking him on in 2012.

“Anybody who knows me knows that I have no intention of running for office ever in my whole career,” Maddow told the Herald.

Oh and I also think Brown should turn around and accuse her of making a public ruckus in a desperate attempt to drum up MSNBC (and her) ratings. Quit using Scott Brown for profit, Maddow!

  7. 2 different issues of Playboy.

One with Scott Brown in the centerfold.

The other with Maddow in the centerfold.

What percentage of straight males would rather buy the Scott Brown issue?

  9. I don’t know, MU789, I think Maddow is a pretty handsome fellow.

    What’s that? Oh. . . I see. Never mind.

  10. Here is how my apology would go …

Rachel – I am sorry you are a mendoucheous lying liar. I am sorry that your ratings are abysmal. I am sorry you have to work with Olbergasm and that poofter Shuster. I am sorry that little Air America thingie was such an epic fail.

  11. Comment by MU789: I ain’t going there.

But anybody who can get an ‘EEWWWWW!’ like that one out of daleyrocks is all right in my book, no matter how often JD denounces you!

  13. Thought I’d see something here from imdw or timb telling us how wonderful Maddow is; perhaps the little twits are sleeping-in today.

  14. Funniest thing about Madcow’s show (which I have never watched, just as with anything else on that joke of a “network”) – it was when she had to come on right after Olberdouche ranted on about how much of a nasty b-tch Hillary was, and how a mean harpy had no business being that way to his Messiah. The clip of her face was absolutely priceless.
