1. Clearly, you should get onto it with your own info, find out who they are shilling this crap out to, and do two things:

   1) Do as they ask, and write a letter of support under the name “Ellie Light”

   2) Write another letter calling attention to the astroturfing campaign and shaming the editors for falling for it.

2. When the ellie light stuff came out, weren’t lots of folks saying the offering of ways for people to send their own messages was a common practice these days?

3. I have no problem with astro-turfing if the astro-turfers are honest about their backing.

   But, then, that’s not astro-turfing is it?
