Working Hard to Protect Americans

[Guest post by DRJ]

A quote from an unnamed Obama official as the Administration strives to show how engaged Obama is in dealing with the the Christmas Day terrorist attack on Northwest Flight 253, including how “Obama is balancing his leisure activities with appropriate attention to his job”:

“[Obama is] continuing to learn new things … and is continuing to ask a lot of probing questions,” the official said.

A commenter we know replies:

“I always love it when his own admin people have to puff him up by saying things like he’s asking “probing” questions.”

Note to MayBee: I’m really not following you. I read the article, noticed the good comment, and lo and behold it was you.

While I appreciate May Bee’s comment, my response to this was more along the lines of, Really? This is the best they can say because any of us here would also be learning new things and asking probing questions, too.

I would’ve expected his staff to puff him up in a manner that caused him to appear less pedestrian and more knowledgeable and assertive.

  4. The staff responses are really weird. Is he shovel ready yet?

  5. By continuing to ask questions he avoids the responsibility of making decisions. It’s not a bug, it’s one of Obama’s features.

I think that was her point…

Obama is out of his depth, and the fact that the best they can do is “he’s asking questions” is telling.

  11. Obama: the president who asks the smart questions, the ones the President of the United States should already know the answer to.

Is it 3 AM? Is that a phone ringing? Oh it’s just Hillary having another mini-stroke.
