   I liked that article at Big Hollywood about Biden making up stories in his stump speech, and attributing quotes to his Grandfather that someone else said.

   we will see some member of the public, or
   a reporter, using the same gesture when
   asking president Obama a question.

   What is striking though is that Obama bows
   to foreign royalty and gives the finger to US
   citizens.

   What makes it striking is that many of us
   can imagine where the president’s finger
   has been. Perhaps some one could ask his
   wife to confirm.

7. He’s done it so many times, it’s probably become a sub-conscious act by now.

   Which is not to say that I am defending it or explaining it away. It is still a gesture born of classlessness.

8. I believe it’s intentional, but even giving him the benefit of the doubt, it’s extremely unprofessional behavior.

   Either way, it doesn’t speak well to the maturity and self-discipline of either the President or those advising him.

10. Hey Patterico, you still think Obama’s a “good man”? You still think he wasn’t giving the finger to Hillary and McCain? You still think he didn’t mean to call Palin a pig with lipstick on? Those of us who aren’t enamored with Obama’s “superior intellect and first-class temperament” have seen through this asshole’s act from the get-go. How come so many of our superior conservatives like Buckley, Althouse, O’Reilly, Moran, McCain etc. couldn’t see this? But go ahead and beat up Palin if she says we have the right to investigate the backgrounds of our elected officials, or that the health care bill will create death panels. She’s so dumb and divisive. We need smart, classy adults in charge, like Barack Obama, because he knows how to bring people together and end the partisan politics. I’m looking at you and scratching my temple with my middle finger… but just scratching an itch, that’s all…
