ACORN: We Turned Giles and O’Keefe Away in L.A.

ACORN took the bait, and the L.A. Times dutifully reported it:

Said O’Keefe: “Although he did not kick us out, he was the only employee in our nationwide ACORN child prostitution investigation who would not assist us.”

[Updated at 10 p.m.: In an email, ACORN disputed O’Keefe’s claim, saying that the filmmaker earlier had gone to an ACORN office on South Grand Avenue in L.A. with the scenario and was turned away.]

OK. I guess we’ll see.

They’ve lied before. I don’t know why they’d be telling the truth this time.

Is ACORN lying? I know which way I’d bet . . .

  2. I like the videos “purportedly filmed” in ACORN’s offices bit the LA Times used to describe O’Keefe and Giles did in the different locations. Cowards.

  3. Speaking of LA – To all of my LA friends, my Thanksgiving trip got re-routed to another State. We are going to the mountains of Utah for Thanksgiving. As much as I cannot wait to take my little angel skiing, I was really looking forward to seeing/meeting many of you.

    All will not be lost…it has been known to actually snow in L.A. during December (just a light dusting that’s gone with the morining Sun, but it’s better than nothing)…
    Now, if you could arrange for The Goracle to show up, we might get a full-fledged blizzard.
