Gibbs seems to be a walking gaffe machine, as a WH Press Secretary.
Steven Den Beste (99cfa1) — 11/6/2009 @ 7:54 pmI’m amazed every time his lips move.
The collective, selective amnesia of the left is a wonder to behold.
In fact, it is a miracle. Maybe “bored again” can drop by and explain this supernatural event.
Ag80 (3d1543) — 11/6/2009 @ 8:06 pmGibbs has been put in a really bad position, as he has to give voice to the laughable ideas that come from the kids in the White House. He makes Scottie McClelland look competent.
JD (88ca98) — 11/6/2009 @ 8:13 pmI miss Ari Fleischer. Even McCurry was decent. Gibbs is obnoxious and dim–two qualities that should be career-ending in media relations (I’ve been in the field–private sector and gov’t–for 25 years).
RB (9c47f9) — 11/6/2009 @ 8:17 pmDana Perino, smart, articulate, courteous. Tony Snow, smart, articulate, courteous.
Gosh, I miss them.
Dana (e9ba20) — 11/6/2009 @ 8:18 pmOK, Ms. Perino…you need to do a better job of concealing your identity. 😉
RB (9c47f9) — 11/6/2009 @ 8:48 pmThere reason Gibbs deserves to be amazed is that conservatives did not used to act that way; such vileness was exclusively a product of the 60’s trained left.
Unfortunately, the standards of civility and ethics that used to mark the right–the ethics of a Bill Buckley and a Ronald Reagan–have fled much of the Republican party. This site’s commentators are proof of how far the conservative movement has fallen.
Cyrus Sanai (3b1f29) — 11/6/2009 @ 8:56 pmRich
JD (db91b8) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:03 pm“This site’s commentators are proof of how far the conservative movement has fallen.”
Cyrus – If that was written by someone I had a gram of respect for my feeling might be hurt. Coming from someone who is nothing more than a gasbag and ten pounds of shit stuffed into a five pound casing, you have made my night!
daleyrocks (718861) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:06 pmCyrus:
So, the ethics of the left are OK, because the right has abandoned the civility and ethics of Buckley and Reagan?
Just to be clear.
Ag80 (3d1543) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:06 pmGood lord, precisely who is this Cyrus Sanai? His incivility is stunningly unbecoming. Which is so ironic.
Dana (e9ba20) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:07 pmI suspect it’s a “concern troll”.
Techie (482700) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:09 pmHe’s a third-rate hack ambulance-chaser.
AD - RtR/OS! (b8e0ad) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:11 pmYou people are missing the real money-quote in that statement from Gibbs…
Yeah. He actually said that.
Scott Jacobs (d027b8) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:19 pmSince you are so fond of Bill Buckley’s ethics, I wish to emulate them man…
I would very much, Cyrus, enjoy socking you in your God Damn face and have you stay plastered.
Scott Jacobs (d027b8) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:22 pmAt least Cindy Sheehan, for all her moonbattery, is consistent.
Brother Bradley J. Fikes, C.O.R. (0ea407) — 11/6/2009 @ 9:49 pmAnd if you can find photographic examples of the signs Gibbs describes, they all have the logo of the Larouche people. Why everyone attributes these to conservatives when they are stamped with the name of their party is a mystery to me.
Douglas2 (713eac) — 11/6/2009 @ 10:24 pmCyrus Sanai would be a kissing cousin to Miley Cyrus, if Miley would sink that low.
More likely her dad would cap his ass like the coyote he is.
redc1c4 (fb8750) — 11/6/2009 @ 10:53 pmredc1c4 – Miley Cyrus is both more intelligent and civil than the other protoplasm you mentioned.
daleyrocks (718861) — 11/6/2009 @ 11:00 pmIt’s really unfair comparing Obama to Hitler.
I mean Hitler got his Olympics.
nobody else had said it, and thank you all for leaving it for me!
papertiger (feba14) — 11/7/2009 @ 2:23 amLay off Gibbs, people.
His job is to make Obama look intelligent.
The same goes for Biden.
Mission Accomplished!!!

Thank you, for my morning laugh.
AD - RtR/OS! (89a0a7) — 11/7/2009 @ 6:59 amSo President Bush was really born in Kenya and therefore had no right to that high office.
Thanks, I did not know that.

David Ehrenstein (2550d9) — 11/7/2009 @ 7:21 amGibbs can’t be serious!
Patricia (b05e7f) — 11/7/2009 @ 8:05 amWhen did they put Peter Griffin in the pressroom
bishop (996c34) — 11/7/2009 @ 10:04 amThis is an Onion parody of Gibbs, right?
