Levi Johnston to Pose with His Wiener Exposed

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 6:47 pm

In “Playgirl.” Andrew Sullivan must be thrilled.

Allahpundit, as usual, has the best line:

The only reason anyone’s heard of him is because of something he did with his schwanz. Might as well show it off.

(”Schwanz.” Is that a real word?) (UPDATE: Yes!)

Anyway, this Levi Johnston. He’s a real prince of a guy, isn’t he?

P.S. OK: technically, “nude” does not necessarily mean “with his wiener exposed.” But listen, do you want accurate or do you want funny?

  1. I think Levi more than most needs to make hay while the sun shines. Largely because he’s a stupid white trash person I think. This is not a new insight on my part.

  12. Sarah Palin created this beast who has now grown to become such an embarrassment to her and her family. She gave him a taste of his 15 minutes and see what it turned out to become. She did it. She owns this mess. Deal with it folks.

  15. Yes, it is just terrible how she forced he daughter to fall in love with him, forced her to have sex with him and become pregnant, forced her to have the baby, and then chased him away so that her grandchild will be without a father.

Are you really a moron, or do you just play one on the internet?

  16. “She owns this mess. Deal with it folks.”

This is not correct, he is an adult, totally responsible for his actions unless insane (and I don’t think that fits). js

  17. It’s ironic that I was just thinking about how the media, and ridiculous people with boring lives will, in their screwy misguided ways, blame Palin for Johnston’s exhibitionism and assume it directly reflects on some lack of character or respectability, or something equally as silly.

And then I see Emperor’s comment fulfilling my expectation!

    Comment by Dana — 10/8/2009 @ 8:12 pm

  18. “nude” does not necessarily mean “with his wiener exposed.”

Actually, that’s exactly what if means (for a man). “Nude” means showing at least some of the “naughty bits”, otherwise it means nothing.

    Comment by LTEC — 10/8/2009 @ 8:13 pm

  19. So, by not hiding him out in the cellar, or paying to have him killed (see LBJ), Sarah Palin is responsible for what her daughter’s baby daddy chose to do of his own free will?

Gerald Ford was responsible for Betty’s drinking; ditto Jimmy Carter for Billy, and Bill Clinton for Roger. Is anything that anybody ever does actually their own fault? Is it time for Love’s spirited defense of Polanski?

    Comment by Icy Texan — 10/8/2009 @ 8:14 pm

  20. The Emperor, your attempt to blame Sarah Palin for the conduct of her daughter’s boyfriend is just another example of how disturbed and bile-filled you are.

  27. We have seen that when the children of Democrats get into trouble it is not the national scandal it is with Republicans. Was Al Gore blamed for his son’s addiction? Do you hold him to blame? Palin is not even related to this young man but she is forever responsible for whatever he does? Are you serious?

    Comment by Machinist — 10/8/2009 @ 8:30 pm

  28. Palin is not even related to this young man but she is forever responsible for whatever he does?

    of course not.

she’s indirectly responsible for the fact that it’s news, and in this particular case she’s probably indirectly responsible for the fact that he has the opportunity to do it; Playgirl would almost certainly not want him if it weren’t for former Governor Palin.

She’s responsible in a but-for-causation sort of way.

  31. You can always count on me to tell the truth, Dana. What if Sarah Palin was a Democrat? What would you guys be saying now?

No, Emperor, that’s not what I count on because you are not telling the truth- and you know it.

You know as well as I do that Johnston is desperately scrambling for his 15 minutes of fame, and if he has to degrade himself to get it, he will. He is a young man who has quickly evolved into a cheap media whore.

Palin has not one iota of responsibility in this decision of his nor in the person that Levi Johnston is. His parents certainly have a hand in his character, or lack thereof, but Palin did not raise him nor instill his value system.

By choosing to blame Palin for his behavior you expose your anti-Palin stance, long in place before this and you infantilize a young adult who desperately needs to grow the heck up.

    Comment by Dana — 10/8/2009 @ 8:37 pm

  32. So will Democratic politicians now be accountable for the character failings of any people who date their children at any point in their lives? That could be interesting.

aphrael, I think Emperor is making the charge that Palin shares responsibility for his character flaws, not just his notoriety. See #12.

    Comment by Ag80 — 10/8/2009 @ 8:44 pm

  35. Emperor, why on earth do you think that it matters if Palin were a Democrat or Republican? It wouldn’t relieve Levi Johnston of being assigned responsibility for his own actions. It certainly wouldn’t change Palin’s non-responsibility in this either. Stop trying so hard.

I’m not inclined to judge a person’s lack of moral fiber, character weakness, or from assuming responsibility for their own actions on which side of the political aisle they’re parked on.

  40. #38,
Have you not noticed already that when one of the all too numerous Republican scumbags is exposed it generally ends their career as Republicans condemn them, but Democrats just shamelessly shrug it off and continue on, knowing the press, the political leadership, and their constituents will overlook or support their corruption?

    There is a difference.

That’s why corruption — and various forms of it — tends to be strongly incubated and then quickly bred when feel-good, flaky liberals dominate a society. Sort of an extension of the interesting phenomenon separating the left from the right that indicates conservatives, and not liberals, are more generous with their time and money.

  67. And who gave him that 15 minutes? Who brought him out to the public for the world to know him? Who created Levi “the Dick” Johnson?

First and foremost, blame Levi “look at my…” Johnson, for banging the governor’s daughter. Then blame Bristol “me want some of that” Palin for consenting to such banging, and blame both participants for failing to take appropriate precautions. At some level, I suppose you could blame the Palin family for supporting Bristol’s decision to walk the pro-life walk rather than merely talk such talk. Those facts alone were enough to make Johnson “famous” in Alaska, albeit probably not “famous” enough to display his namesake in Playgirl.

At the national level, Andrew Sullivan is to blame for spewing his ridiculous stories about Sarah Palin having faked her own birth earlier that year to cover for Bristol, thereby leaving the Palins with little choice but to come clean with the real story.

Or, for those living in Love’s loved-up world, it’s all Sarah Palin’s fault for running for VP.
