The GOP has a well established record of collaboration when the chips are down. They say they've changed, but have yet to offer any real proof. If past performance is any indicator of future behavior, I wouldn't rely on the GOP to do anything but roll over on Health Care, Afghanistan, Cap and Trade, you name it. I hope I'm wrong, I hope the GOP has changed, but I'm going to have to wait to see some evidence before I expect anything but a knife in the back from those two-faced SOBs.
