1. My hope has been realized! I especially admired SDB’s engineering-savvy analysis of alternative energy sources. We need a numerically literate look at the subject, not just starry-eyed worship of unicorn power.

8. I get the impression that Den Beste has been feeling down as a result of his chronic illness and needs to feel more useful.

   I’m hoping that he feels a reward and will continue. I enjoy his points of view.
