Quit poking posters like swizzle with a stick (no pun intended) - it just encourages them... it IS kinda fun though, I must admit,...

And I do kinda like the idea of reporting the White House to the White House, but since it's 4am here, my judgment could be skewed :)

The country is on the brink of a financial crisis, and the president is worried about grandma and grandpa showing up at townhall meetings. Pathetic!

This "swizzle" is a blithering idiot, to the point of painful. And for some reason feels it necessary to inflict some of that pain on the rest of us.

But it turns out that swizzle is misrepresenting what went on. Instead, a protestor compared Democrats’ policies to nazi policies. That’s free speech, not racism.

LOL. He (or she) apparently was trying to turn a group of protestors voicing opposition to leftist policymaking into a band of ultra-rightwing Socialists----which is what Nazi Germany was all about (BTW, and in the category of irony of ironies, Hitler was a vegan who endorsed the concept of animals rights).

Swizzle undoubtedly is too foolish to see the irony (another one!) of accusing almost any opponent of Barack Obama, who embraced a loudmouth extremist like Jeremiah Wright for years and years, of being a flamethrower.

Swizzle disappeared shortly after I noted that I had forwarded its comments to flag@whitehouse.gov. Coincidence?

I was young in the 60s and remember many protests. I never took part as I was too busy working to support myself. Living in my parent's basement was not an option.

I just wanted to say that the old folk protesting today about Obama care were young folk back in the 60s.

They know something about protesting against the government.

And as wiser people now, they know something about the long run.

It's too bad that the Demo leadership really doesn't understand the lessons of the 60s. They really seem to be reverting to the Daley doctrine.

Where is Obama's outrage at a conservative black man being ruffled up and called derogative names? Why doesn't the MSM ask Obama that question and we'll see how he answers. Maybe he will hold another beer social to pacify the antagonists. A weekly happy hour could be held in the Rose Garden to ease racial tensions. What about the woman, I believe in Indiana having her camera smashed into her face while filming A Town Hall meeting? It seems the White House occupant entertains selective outrage. Are they going to let us old folks die naturally by withholding medicine or will we be routinely euthanized?
It doesn't matter to me as death is an eventuality from which there is not any escape. There is however a sickening feeling that overcomes me when I realize it is not a life that will be terminated but the dignity of that life will be terminated by callously judging that person to be worthless. Of course those who propose valuing one life over another will one day be old too. That might change their mind about allowing old folks to just fade away.
