And of course you realize that the level of frustration at our president has nothing to do with his color, it has to do with his lack of being honest with the public and his inability to even believe (due to his own pride/arrogance perhaps) that his health care plan may do great serious harm to our country. Pelosi did not complain that the protesters were comparing ObamaCare to Nazism; she insinuated that they are Nazis.
The most charitable thing that can be said about the speaker’s comment is that it was no better than the speech she was criticizing. She likened her political opponents to Nazis, just as a handful of them had done to their opponents.
But it is one thing for a citizen to say vile things about an elected official, quite something else for an elected official to say vile things about a citizen. As speaker of the House, Pelosi is not only the representative of her San Francisco constituents but a leader of her party and the leader of a branch of the federal government.
It is despicable for someone in her position to liken private citizens to Nazis. Nancy Pelosi owes America an apology.

Your side lost all credibility on this debate when the President, Pelosi, Reid, and every other Democrat didn’t stand up from the beginning and say, “This plan will work so well, and will save the taxpayers so much money, that EVERY government official, from the President on down to the GS-4 stamping tickets at the entrance to Yellowstone, will be required to be on this plan.” Why should anyone swallow the food that the cook won’t eat themselves?

There is however a sickening feeling that overcomes me when I realize it is not a life that will be terminated but the dignity of that life will be terminated by callously judging that person to be worthless. Of course those who propose valuing one life over another will one day be old too. That might change their mind about allowing old folks to just fade away.
I just wanted to say that the old folk protesting today about Obama care were young folk back in the 60s.

He (or she) apparently was trying to turn a group of protestors voicing opposition to leftist policymaking into a band of ultra-rightwing Socialists—-which is what Nazi Germany was all about (BTW, and in the category of irony of ironies, Hitler was a vegan who endorsed the concept of animals rights).
Swizzle undoubtedly is too foolish to see the irony (another one!) of accusing almost any opponent of Barack Obama, who embraced a loudmouth extremist like Jeremiah Wright for years and years, of being a flamethrower.
