Fishy Emails

The Obama Administration has asked Americans to forward to a government email account (flag@whitehouse.gov) any email or website link about the Democrats’ health care reform that “seems fishy”:
The Administration’s efforts are raising a lot of red flags about Big Brother, including a letter from Texas Senator John Cornyn objecting to the program and accusing the White House of using the information to compile an “enemies list”:
“In his letter, Cornyn asked that the effort cease immediately and that the administration inform Congress what it’s doing to ensure that names and electronic information about citizens weighing in on health care are not collected.
Kevin McLaughlin, a spokesman for the senator, said that the office had received no response from the administration.”
Richard Nixon was rightly criticized for his enemies list, and Obama’s actions make him look more and more like Nixon every day.

In fact, they may have done so already as donors. What’s scary is that this gives Obama contact information and knowledge about specific people who don’t support him — people who may not even know they’ve been reported if it resulted from the forwarding of a personal email.

One of you that is good with the google can probably find the Leftists like Leahy, Barcky, etal up in arms over TIPS, but are silent when the freakin Federal government wants to track and monitor people exercising their Right under the Constitution because they do not agree with the political content. Holy freakin Jeebus, this infuriates me, but at least it shows that they were taking their position against Bush for political reasons, ahead of security.

These forwards will allow for a list to be compiled of IP addresses that are critical/non-supportive of the Administration. That’s a given, but is worthless without more info…
Info – for example – like the Administration wants collected by the Org set up to map out high-speed internet access availability in the US. In addition to the general “availability” info, the administration recently decided that it would like for ISPs to send them information regarding individuals – what internet access is used by what customers. This would include billing addresses and IP for those IP addresses.
Putting the two together, they would now have a master list of all IP addresses and a linked address, plus a list of IP addresses of people who aren’t fans.
I can’t say that this is the intent, but it is a possible outcome. And it’s something that, had I the information, I would do – especially if I were as afraid of dissent as the current Administration appears to be.

Why does Obama want so much information about us? I doubt he’s crazy enough to attempt to intern anybody, but he’s helped legitimize Chavez, Ahmedenajad (sp), Zelaya… who knows what goes on in his head?
He also wants control over my medical records. And to control what medical procedures I’m able to get (since he’s absolutely going to single payer). What’s up? He’s an extremely aggressive and touchy politician who is limited not by his morals, but by what he thinks he can get away with.

I’m pretty sure she was growling something “fishy” about the Socialized Medical Plan President Obsama — there I go again, I mean Obama, is trying to force feed down the American citizen’s throats. So being a good citizen and all I thought I should report her. Do I get a reward? Can I wear a fancy Uniform? Oh, just thinking of how great President Obama is, I think I just orgasmed! That happened several times to Nixon at White House functions. I believe, but I am not positive, that Ertha Kitt was one of those who made a scene at a White House dinner.

Yep. Isn’t technology grand! Now instead of having to find a pen to write the note, then walk to the mailbox, you can open your laptop, rat out your neighbor in your jammies, and not even leave home.
Watch The Lives of Others…great movie that follows a playright who decides to defy the Stasis and learns that what he *thought* were just telephone lines…. anyway, the comparison is not horribly far off the mark. In time, one could see a citizen patrol also becoming the next integral part of *management*…

He was convinced that his ex – wife had informed on him after their divorce. Sadly, he passed away shortly after the movie was made. If you get the DVD, make sure to watch the interview with the Director – fascinating.
