I once posited that the "journalist" was actually a scriptwriter for 1-900 number advertisements. By his own standards, since it was never denied I can assume it is true.

Nobody sane would class you with this type of “journalist”. Ever. I would venture that all professions have their bad apples. I have great respect for you, shared by many here I’m sure. That’s why this “journalist” is always referred to in quotes… his title is in name only, not in any form of professionalism.

My skin crawls to think bunkertrollHax is a “journalist”. As if my profession doesn’t already have enough to answer for.

I hope it’s at some lefty site and not some supposedly objective pub.

This was to prove to Patterico that the apology was not made in good faith. At that time, I said that I wasn't going to take the bait because I knew where the "journalist" was going to go with it. His comment on this thread shows that he not only didn't read the articles before saying I had no credibility and it was "case closed", it shows that calling me "gutless" was just another attempt to draw me out. Induction into the "Whine Club" and accusing me of whining about the apology had the same purpose... looking for a way to call me a murderer. (The paranoid part was especially cute.) I said absolutely nothing to or about him for over a week and he still tried to get someone to take the bait. He's got nothing but vileness to contribute.
