    It’s time to help my two little ones open up presents. In a world filled with nonsensical politics and argumentation, it is easy to forget what is truly important.

  3. My Grandson is 12 days old… He is still in intensive care with a hyperactive pancreas, but still, the best of joys.

  10. My turkey is in the oven, my wife and daughter still asleep, my grandchildren, no doubt, are thanking Santa about now and all is well. Merry Christmas to all and a peaceful New Year. We had our traditional Christmas Eve family gathering at my younger son’s house last night. Christmas is about families and I have a large one. My older son announced his engagement at the party. Everybody was together once again and troubles are forgotten.

  12. Merry Christmas to all. We had our first Christmas at home with our 7 year old this morning, and it was the first time she had Santa at home. Along with the 8 month old eating and shitting machine’s first Christmas, it has been great. We did church and dinner with friends last night, and now we get to celebrate with the Vietnamese side of the family tonight. Big fun for the kids, and the adults … Best wishes to all, even the twatwaffles.

  19. From all of my family, we wish the denizens — would that be the right word? 🙂 — of Patterico’s Pontifications a very Merry Christmas!

    My guess is that most of us who have the time and the access to visit sites like this one are fortunate enough, are blessed enough, to be comfortable this Christmas. My family isn’t wealthy, but we don’t have to worry about having a roof over our heads, either.

    I am fortunate that I can celebrate with the extended families – two sets with five grandchildren! How lucky can a man be?

    As I told my children, “The best thing that ever happened to me in my life are the grandchildren.”

    Love them babies…all of them…everybody’s.
