I understand the terrorists have taken patients in hospitals as hostages. Which is pure savagery.
And of course, Pakistan’s military is a possible source of some of this attack. And India and Pakistan both are nuclear powers. I hope mostly that Pakistan has nothing to do with this.
My other thought, given all the reports of emergency vehicles being used by terrorists, is that London might experience a similar attack with those Ebayed London ambulances.
Juan (4cdfb7) — 11/26/2008 @ 2:34 pmI stayed at the “Taj” last month while on a business trip to India. Across the road from the iconic Gateway to India, this is (was?)a beautiful place.
Security was, for a hotel, very tight, as terrorist attacks are not uncommon in Mumbai. From the taxi queue to the lobby I had to transit through two metal detectors and to endure two security/package checks.
My thoughts are with the hotel staff; I hope that they are safe.
