I regularly google and investigate the ‘ideas’ and ‘hero’s’ you all expouse too. Thomas Sowell for example…but I remembered he kind of sucked in the several newspaper columns I read of his with his syndication with Gannett. Really, he is too isolated and narrow-minded in his opposition to liberalism (a philosophy that allowed him a Harvard education despite his minority status). I listen and learn but remain very, very unconvinced in the Right’s ideas. I was once, as a youngster a Right-winger, and maybe have a little too much in common here. It feels ‘comfortable’ here.

I give you a easy-going “troll” to bash when so-called trolls are less and less interested in visiting conservative sites. We might get rarer and rarer and then you’d get bored having no one to talk with except the other True Believers.

I recommend Matthew Yglesias’ blog for commenting. He actually listens to conservative ideas and is willing to buck liberal orthodoxy once in awhile even if being “of the left”. (he’s too busy to actually participate in the comments but that’s to be expected of ’success’.) At Progressive blogs I am seeing fewer and fewer conservatives being gutsy or proficient enough to maintain an argument other than the ‘drive-by’s leaving sarcastic and profanities.

I never participated at Cafe Hayek, an obvious conservative economic issue site but liberals seem to be welcome there after the current ban on comments expires.
