I think there was confusion from a rally where, when the speaker (Palin? or McCain) mentioned *William Ayers* and what he did, someone actually did say “Kill him” – that was about Ayers, not Obama. I think in these other cases, they are almost entirely talking about Ayers. There are some hotheads in any bunch, so it doesn’t prove a whole lot anyway.

According to FoxNews, the Secret Service has determined that the Florida “kill him” incident was bogus, too. They think the guy actually said “tell him” or “tell them.”

Well, Palin ignored the people shouting bad things about Obama? The Secret Service just investigated this and found no proof.

On the other hand, I HAVE SEEN FIRST HAND – at a McCain/Palin Rally, liberal protestors physically charged at and attempted to attack John McCain. The Secret Service dropped the wusses quickly and arrested them – and they deserved it.

So the left wants to complain about words?

I don’t think Sandra is a liar.

But I do suspect she’s an astroturfer. What are the chances she would find Patterico’s post, find the video she wants, and then post it here because we don’t “know” the truth about this alleged statement?

I suspect she’s the blog equivalent of a seminar caller.

As can be seen in other posts concerning the supposed threats in Scranton, the Secret Service takes these things seriously. When I see a report on their investigation, where they have used their high tech equipment to sort out sounds and voices and have an amplified recording, then I will reconsider.

Until then, I really think the person said, “Paul is dead”. (Which is also not true).
