How sweet it is! 25 point underdogs knock off #1!

SC has always had trouble with Oregon State at Corvallis. They lost two years ago in a similarly sloppy game. OSU is very well coached and that freshman runner is going to be giving other teams fits for the next three years.
That said, SC is not as good as it was said, and for you Ohio State fans, it shows how crappy they are this year. The defensive line was outplayed tonight. Sanchez was spending too much time reading his Heisman clippings. Leinart would have gotten them down field one of those two possessions inside the ten.
When SC has lots of penalties, and two of them were critical, and turns over the ball, they lose.

Delicious.
The Beavers ran right through the vaunted USC line. Mark “Dirty” Sanchez, the USC QB, was clue less.
USC also likely lost their ultimate defensive stud Rey Maaluaga to a knee injury.
L.A. does not support losers. HAHAHAHAHA.

This game makes me think of mascots, good and bad.
PS – I know the USC mascot is Traveler.

It may ultimately be LSU but for at least a day it’s OU.

drj,
Saw the good list…back in the 80′s, when Wisconsin was a bad team (bad as in stink), the faithful use to go to games wearing t-shirts that had Bucky Badger on the. Bucky was shown “flipping the bird” and the shirts said, “Bucky Badger says F%^& You!”

Maybe, just maybe, the MSM, with their liberal bias, will realize that they also have a Midwest/USC bias, and put the real teams at the top of the polls….

Awesome game. I love these kind of upsets.
One of my roomies is from OSU, so he’s stoked, and I have family near Redmond (one of my cousins went to OSU).
I’m all about LSU – my dad did a lot of work in Baton Rouge for a while.

I saw this game at a bar while sipping on a Smirnoff Ice. There were a couple of USC fans inside.

Beavers damn Trojans.

Meanwhile, on another channel, Sarah Palin pulled an Oregon State style upset of another anointed team.

Everyone knows a trojan can protect you from a beaver; but it can’t stop a beaver
heh

I am still feasting on Stanford’s victory over USC last year. It may well be that USC’s limited chances for a BCS title are not a lack of quality in the other nine teams in the Pac 10.

The game I always hate is USC vs. Notre Dame. Not that I don’t respect either program, rather I detest the sycophantic devotion both schools engender.
Unlike last evening, where I hoped for a OSU win.
