yes Palin is a slut has no talent to speak of. She has a slut daughter too and she think the earth is 6000 years old. If America wants leaders that can stand up straight among the leaders in the world, a slut full of air in her head will not do.

European Affairs

I hasten to point out that this commitee hasn't even gotten together since Obama got appointed to run it...

(And don’t forget Biden’s son too btw)

Which one, the Captain in the NG, or the one indicted for fraud?

I assume you forget about Sen McCain's kid and Gov Palin's son being in the military...

And before all the chickenhawk taunts start,

No taunts here. Honest. I'm not sure what you mean.

The chickenhawk label only applies to Bush/Cheney and the neocon gang that shaped the disaster in Iraq and whose incompetent "ideas" are still the heart of the brain trust at GOP HQ no matter the dementia/schizophrenia/break with reality that McPalin claim.

(And don't forget Biden's son too btw)

Okay now I'm really outta here.

Daleycrocks:
The interview was prior to her selection by McCain. Why would she be addressing the other topics you whine about at that point when Maria’s major interest is her energy expertise.

I was not the one to link to it as an example of her ability to take questions from the press, and speak knowledgeably. So, your barking up the wrong tree there brudda.

yeah, she had an energy policy and experience implementing it before she ran for VP! Imagine that!

Sounds to me from that interview that all she has experience about is that ANWR has no mountains and is a good place to drill for oil and that the environmental impact would be negligible in her not so humble opinion.

If you want to get into the experience debate fine with me.

Sarah Palin -
- Finished second in the Miss Alaska pageant.
- Has a degree from from the University of Idaho in communications
- Had a 20% ownership in an Anchorage car wash business
- Two terms as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.
- One year as chairman of an oil commission.
- A year an a half as Governor of Alaska

Barack Obama -
- A graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School
- Served as president of the Harvard Law Review
- Three years as director of the Developing Communities Project (DCP)
- A consultant and instructor for the Gamaliel Foundation
- Taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School for twelve years
- Served on the board of directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge
- 8 years in the Illinois Senate
- 4 years in the U.S. Senate
- Sponsored 131 bills in the U.S. Senate
- Held assignments on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations, Environment and Public Works, Veterans' Affairs, Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and European Affairs.
- Has made official government trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
- Authored two best selling books.

Here's some other things. He was right about Iraq, right about the timetable, which Al Maliki supports as being in keeping with their wishes for when the American troops should leave, right about talking to Iran, right about going after AQ in Pakistan. All elements that the Bush administration has had to, with great chagrin, agree too as effective approaches towards those particular areas.

And one of my favorite...beat the most powerful democratic front-runner for President in a generation by running a measured, brilliant, effective campaign.

Over and out,

(For today anyway...)

Hey Peter, yeah, she had an energy policy and experience implementing it before she ran for VP! Imagine that! You might say that she has great experience for being the standby Chief Executive!

And before all the chickenhawk taunts start, both she and McCain will have children in Iraq during the campaign. They are probably both proud and worried about those kids. What's the taunt now, that they're really not in the service, it's all a big faked video?
