Pellicano Convicted — Again

The A.P. reports:

A federal jury convicted former Hollywood private eye Anthony Pellicano and entertainment lawyer Terry Christensen on Friday of charges linked to the wiretapping of billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian’s former wife in a child support battle.

No word yet on whether Chuck Philips attended the verdict without a pen or notebook — as he did the last time Pellicano was convicted of federal felonies.

  1. Great news.

When does Phil Spector go before the court, Patterico. I know these things take time but isn’t another trial a tad overdue?

  2. Didn’t the wife get like $10K a month just for rabbit care costs?

    TLove (012115)

  3. The link is busted for me. This one is straight from AP.

Is there legal guidance for the judge as to concurrent or consecutive sentencing with reference to the first conviction?

    Rick Ballard (0a8990)

  4. I have always thought Mr. Pellicano was keeping quiet about any dirty work for Clinton Inc. he might have done, out of the hope Sen. Clinton would grant a pardon for his silence once President. But that’s not going to happen, at least for another 4 years.

It must be a very uncomfortable feeling right now.

  5. This doesn’t pass the smell test. What nitwit would tap a phoneline to establish paternity when only a DNA test would tell the tale?

    Ropelight (4a83c9)

  6. Please let me know Pellicano can no longer (legally) work as a PI.
