A Part of John Edwards’ Story that Doesn’t Help Obama-Biden

It looks to me as if the Obama-Biden campaign may have made the John Edwards’ story a campaign issue:

“Even though [John] Edwards is not coming to the Democratic National Convention here in Denver, it’s not like he’s been completely forgotten. His closest associate from his campaign, Sam Myers Sr., is now said to be working with the Biden for Vice President campaign. Myers, they say, has been assigned to handle press traveling with Biden on his campaign plane.

“If anyone knows what happened with John Edwards, it’s Sam Myers,” says an insider. “He never left John’s side during the campaign.” The source continues: “I’m amazed he’s with Biden. Sam is a mean guy, real pit bull, very unlike the Obama people.”

If this claim regarding Myers’ relationship to Edwards is true, I can’t imagine why he was made a part of the Obama-Biden campaign.

  1. This just keeps getting better all the time – Rezko/Ayers/Wright/Myers/Buttafucco. Oh, wait…

Which means if he didn’t get Lisa Drucked himself, he probably was within earshot of John & Rielle knocking boots (and, if you want to believe Edwards, at least one other fellow as well).

Edwards confession of dilly-dallying with Ms. Hunter may explain his chronic lateness on the campaign trail, which was noted by frustrated supporters on a regular basis last year.

The source continues: “I’m amazed he’s with Biden. Sam is a mean guy, real pit bull, very unlike the Obama people.”

I’m not surprised at all. Obama needs an attack dog to fight back against McCain’s valid statements about his naivete and inexperience, and a shoot-from-the-lip fili-blusterer like Biden allows him to stay “above the fray.”

  4. These guys better be on the straight and narrow. The National Enquirer is out beating the bed sheets looking to find any pretty new girls or fancy boys on Bambi’s payroll, traveling with the candidate, making videos, or helping out in other ways.

NE also has a spy in McCain’s camp, but they can’t find any dirt, the old guy drinks prune juice and goes to bed at 8pm.

  5. Is John Edwards having an affair with Sam Myers? Do Tell Michelle!!!!

The O-team has done pretty well so far in that regard. We have yet to see him with a ciggie in his mouth. And I’m sure the YouTube Obama Girls are persona non grata at campaign events.

BTW, in an interview recently, Floyd “Willie Horton” Brown of Citizens United — in a move reminiscent of John Edwards’ taking pains to mention that he didn’t want to mention McCain’s adulterous affair — craftily made reference to refusing to make an issue out of a caucasian woman he briefly lived with before dating Michelle.

  7. Smithee —

That would be the girl that Obama in Dreams from My Father: a STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE, said he dumped after meeting her white parents and deciding he did not …

Want to be related by marriage to white people. Even though he wrote that he “loved” the girl.

Obama wrote it. He hated White people so much he dumped some girl he “loved” (his words, not mine) so he would not be related by marriage to them.

That’s Obama. Always trying to be “Black enough” by expressing anti-White racism. Go read his book!

  8. whiskey: JEEEEEZ what the hell! At least he’s man enough to admit it (then). Not to mention, his MOM is white.

Racism is easy to locate. Reverse the races and if it’s offensive, that’s one good indicator.

Can you imagine if Mccain had written something like that? I almost hate to say it, but this is an explosive statement and I’m surprised it hasn’t come out yet. Do you have the book page or a link to someone discussing this? Not calling you a liar… I’d like to spread the word on this!
