Listen, you all Obama supporters. Obama is not doing any favour by having Hillary's name in the ballot. He has no choice as she is legally entittled to it. Besides, Obama is not yet the nominee until confirmed, though ballots, during the Convention, that's why is the PRESUMPTIVE nominee for now. Just so you know, FDR won the nomination only on yhe 4th ballot. As an aside, Ted Kennedy was on the ballot at least a couple of times with a lot less delegates than Hillary. But what do I know, I'm a Canadian.

I don't understand the courtesy vote or first vote. What is the rationale behind that?
I read somewhere that she is going to give her votes over to Obama at the conclusion of her speech. I think Obama is in a very difficult position. It would take some of the focus off of the Clintons if he would discuss his Cabinet and get people talking about what kind of a leadership team he plans to have in place.

from Drudge:

McCain to crash Obama's party; Will run ads during breaks of network DNC coverage...

Fantastic strategic move. Should make a night of must-see TV. The Washington Times.

Maybe Hillary will talk about how Obama and his supporters, with the apparent tacit consent of the DNC, gamed the caucus process through sometimes very very questionable means, paving the way for him to selected, not elected as the party's nominee. Comparing the popular vote percentages in the 13 states with both primaries and caucuses shows Obama secured the nomination through the caucus process and faded badly at the end.

Little wonder Hillary's recent proposal to reform the caucus process was met with no enthusiasm. To do so would have been to admit there were problems with it.

BTW, if Hillary can jerk him around so easily, what’s TAO going to do when

This short, divisive struggle has shown that He has a track record of not handling conflict well at all. From visiting the wounded soldiers to helping the wounded Hillary (or talking to reporters), BHO is simply not good at crunch time. The whole press-adulation thing makes him the Chauncey Gardiner of our times. The Candidate meets Being There.

I don't think Bambi sees it coming. Given a reasonable chance, Bill and Hill will snatch the nomination right out from under THE ANOINTED ONE's nose, quicker than boiled asparagus.

TAO's apparently too stupid to be POTUS. His wife is tough enough, she and the boys from Chicago who are calling the shots better step in quick and get TAO back on a short leash before he gives away the store.

BTW, if Hillary can jerk him around so easily, what's TAO going to do when the big bad wolf comes calling, hand out penny whistles?

I like it, daleyrocks. The theme is perfect for Hillary and how could I not like a nice Weatherford girl like Mary Martin?

DRJ - I like the Lesley Gore selection. For party unity, I had a different idea.

What do you think?

Why do I have this niggling suspicion that Obama won't win the first vote outright?
