The link was wrong but I fixed it. Sorry.
DRJ (de3993) — 7/27/2008 @ 6:47 pmHis supporters are getting pretty creepy too.
Well, I dont know McCain personally, but I would speculate he lost his dignity when he became known as PW songbird during his captivity.
Creepy.
Mike K (586583) — 7/27/2008 @ 6:49 pmI have not heard before about gender imbalances at obama rallies. Rather I heard he was supposed to not be popular with women after hillary.
afall (8a983a) — 7/27/2008 @ 6:50 pmWhat I read is that he’s not polling as well with women over 50.
DRJ (de3993) — 7/27/2008 @ 6:52 pmI presume that means IQ points.
Vermont Neighbor (31ccb6) — 7/27/2008 @ 6:55 pmThe Democrats recently stipped a female Clinton delegate of her seat at the convention because she said she would not vote for Obama, but would prefer McCain.
SPQR (26be8b) — 7/27/2008 @ 6:56 pmThere is no such thing as a good leader. Why should any other person be trusted to rule your life?

democracy (e3963e) — 7/27/2008 @ 7:13 pm“I find it very creepy that Obama removed the American flag at the back of his plane and replaced it with a great big “O?” Tell me that doesn’t creep you out. The flag and the “O” would be just fine. But why remove the flag?”
Are you people very creeped out by mccain’s plane?
afall (36bef7) — 7/27/2008 @ 8:08 pmDoesn’t McCain’s plane have a large American flag on it as opposed to Hussein O’s Islamic symbol?
Scrapiron (c36902) — 7/27/2008 @ 8:41 pmIslamic? I don’t know.
McCain’s plane has his name and url on it.
afall (8a983a) — 7/27/2008 @ 9:02 pm#8,
You must be good on the dance floor.
Vermont Neighbor (31ccb6) — 7/27/2008 @ 9:15 pm“You people?! Whatchu mean by ‘you people’?!”
Jack Klompus (cf3660) — 7/28/2008 @ 11:03 amThe ‘Tu Quoque Shuffle’…
Drumwaster (5ccf59) — 7/28/2008 @ 11:14 am“The ‘Tu Quoque Shuffle’…”
Not so tu quoque — its more an attempt to show the complained of ‘creepy’ behavior is actually normal. So who here has seen mccain’s plane?
afall (23c2b4) — 7/28/2008 @ 11:56 amCreepy things about John McCain
JAR (08d0b1) — 7/28/2008 @ 11:59 am#14 – an attempt to show the complained of ‘creepy’ behavior is actually normal.
How about: Obama’s fake presidential seal that he featured for exactly one day at a conference of governors.
Have you seen McCain’s fake Presidential seal?
Of course not, because McCain never made up a kindergarten level fake seal.
Not normal, not for any serious Presidential candidate.
Apogee (366e8b) — 7/28/2008 @ 12:10 pmThat’s kinda what is meant by “tu quoque” – “he’s/she’s/they’re doing it too, so our guy isn’t that bad”.
And JAR? The simple fact that you would even Google “McCain rape joke” shows you have something seriously wrong with you. Seek help.
Drumwaster (5ccf59) — 7/28/2008 @ 12:30 pmI might add that the 11th thing that creeps him out about Senator Obama is that he is black. Thats the creepiest of them all!
love2008 (1b037c) — 7/28/2008 @ 12:38 pm“Have you seen McCain’s fake Presidential seal? ”
I have. They floated it, it sucked, and was dropped. Quite normal.
“That’s kinda what is meant by “tu quoque” – “he’s/she’s/they’re doing it too, so our guy isn’t that bad”.”
I understand ‘tu quoque’ to be more along the lines of ‘oh yeah, you’re also wrong.’ Thats fallacious — because it doesn’t argue the original charge. But if it were along the lines of ‘thats actually quite normal,’ then that does respond to the original charge. By saying that the complained of activity is normal and not wrong. Which wouldn’t be a fallacy at all.

afall (87fe55) — 7/28/2008 @ 12:39 pmDrumwasher,
JAR (08d0b1) — 7/28/2008 @ 12:53 pmIt was McCain’s joke. He said it, and yes it was creepy.
Just because it’s normal doesn’t mean that it isn’t wrong.
Relax, LUG, I’m not going to be voting for McCain. But whether or not he said it, you admit that it was creepy, and you never denied that you decided to go and look it up well after the fact, in a blatant strawman of staggering proportions.
Don’t you get tired never seeing sunlight?
Drumwaster (5ccf59) — 7/28/2008 @ 1:08 pm“Just because it’s normal doesn’t mean that it isn’t wrong.”
Sorry. I should have been clearer. I meant it as normal. As in, ‘not creepy.’ As in standard.
afall (23c2b4) — 7/28/2008 @ 1:39 pmJAR #19 – I have. They floated it, it sucked, and was dropped. Quite normal.
Bullshit. You’re talking about a lapel pin sold by a democrat? Someone completely outside McCain’s election staff and organization? A third party salesman who pitches to republicans and democrats? Who donated to the democratic party?
You really want to make that comparison?
Apogee (366e8b) — 7/28/2008 @ 3:11 pmI understood what you meant. I’m trying to get YOU to understand that just because something is “standard behavior” doesn’t mean that it is “right”.
Or even “correct”.
Drumwaster (5ccf59) — 7/28/2008 @ 3:23 pm“I’m trying to get YOU to understand that just because something is “standard behavior” doesn’t mean that it is “right”.”
Moral relativism abounds in the world of campaign airplanes!
afall (7c85b9) — 7/28/2008 @ 4:43 pmThe 12th creepiest thing about Obama is his middle name. “Hussein”. Oh thats so creepy. Reminds me of one wicked dictator we took out. Nemesis is a b**ch!
