    Keep it up, Patrick! Excellent thoughts and summaries on this situation (particularly for those of us in the southeast who don’t make it a point to keep up with local LA news). Getting the real skinny without the bias is great.

  5. #2 and it is all the fault of the evil Bushitler.
    He is preventing the dem congress from functioning properly with his threats of vetoes and interments in the Alaskan wilderness for dissidents. I heard the denizens of DU, Kos, Huff, Moron.org and Codepinko, among others will be rounded up en masse prior to the elections, which themselves will be cancelled ostensibly for national security reasons while Dubya continues to wipe his dupa with the constitution.

    This gay marriage thing seems to be a litmus test for many people. I’d vote against it but if those couples marrying are happy, more power to them. Some will find that marriage is not nirvana.

  16. I think I had worked out the logo months ago but ran into a tech glitch when I tried to actually put the shirts in the shop. Anyway, they’re there now. Even if daleyrocks didn’t really want one.

  18. I fail to see what is funny about the LA Times article. It is like putting a notice on someone’s back, “Lynch me”. The LAT pretended they checked the story. With who? Hardly the family concerned. These purveyors of phony news know two things, that their sales are dropping fast and that the word “porn” is a good seller. Who cares about hurting people with lies when you can make a fast buck? I hope the Kozinski family take the the LAT to the cleaners.

    Hey, I didn’t say I wouldn’t buy one, but it’s not my town. I’m more into generic liberal bashing. I got a great double take from Dick Durbin and his whole posse last year at a public event wearing my 99% of Democrats Make The Rest Look Bad T-Shirt that I bought at IMAO. The friends I went with will no longer invite me anywhere.

  21. This is interesting. World Nut Daily claims Ms. Tiffany wrote them the exact same letter. They quote it extensively. I love this quote:

    Hmmm. What goes in that ellipsis?

    In the e-mail to ME, it was this:

    I wonder what was in the excised part in the version that (they claim) she sent to them?

    They quote Jem and some other commenter but never link or mention my blog.

    I cannot prove, and therefore would never even suggest, that they are lying and she never wrote them. Unless she tells me that, of course . . .

    Funny indeed, but as a prosecutor he can do one better: file a criminal complaint against anyone who entered the site by a link to a specific entry such as this one, but then had the audacity to truncate the URL and peek at the front page.
