Hillary Out

As of Saturday:

Bowing to pressure and the unyielding political math, Hillary Rodham Clinton will end her history-making campaign Saturday and endorse Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination, aides said Wednesday.

This time for sure!

  2. Sure, she says that NOW, but imagine:

    Denver.

Several shocking revelations about Barry surface. He’s wounded politically, and the polls show McCain’s positives shooting up.

She gets to the podium for a speech, and suddenly says, “My fellow Americans, we cannot survive blah blah blah blah blah and therefore I am re-initiating my run for the nomination. I hope you will reward me with your votes for the Democrat Party nomination for the presidency. Thank you, and God save America.”

    It could happen.

  4. The time to concede was, at the latest, Tuesday night, when Barack Hussein Obama had more than enough delegates to secure the nomination. Instead, Hillary Clinton wants to have a big shebang on Saturday to do this, because even though she’s very deservedly lost, it’s still all about her!

  5. Until they actually vote, she is still in the race.

Are you referring to the day Louis XIV was crowned King of France, or when the WWII Battle of Midway came to an end..?

    Inquiring minds, you know. 😉

  10. Ah! The Democratic party and its equal treatment of women. When Senator Edward Moore Kennedy’s presidential run collapsed, the party did no hector him to withdraw. In fact, he did not concede until after the convention began. However, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, in spite of having more delegates and better numbers than Kennedy, is being pressured by party big shots and left wing pundits to concede now. Feminists, the unwritten Democratic motto is : Barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen.

  11. Maybe by delaying Hillary believes that will show how badly she wants to participate in the Dems endeavor to win back the whitehouse. It will be interesting to learn if she can swallow pride long enough to take second fiddle as VP. When Bill was in the Whitehouse I suspect he HAD to listen to her input. Obama has his OWN wife and she is not going to want Hillary dominating her husband. Can’t quite decide if Hillary will accept or decline VP slot.
I DO worry Barack Obama will have an accident that will take him out of the running. Then, guess who the dems will turn to?????
After the dems and repubs got through degrading and belittling each other, it seems none of them are fit to run the country. I wish there was a law candidates can only talk about what they want to accomplish, can’t even talk about the opponent. Stop all the senseless spending of millions of dollars jet setting around the country campaigning. A modern day Abe Lincoln could not afford to run for office now. There should be debates televised and on radio so everyone could hear what they stand for all paid for out of government funds. That way an Abe Lincoln COULD afford to participate. Could it be the wealthy don’t want the governed populace to have a say in running the country??? A chance to actually run for office.???
