A sad day, but not unexpected.
I hope he resumes Blogging some day. I enjoyed his work.

It’s good to kick of your boots,Flak and helmet and let the sun soak into your skin.
Thanks for all of it. BZ

Greetings:
I believe one says either “Over” or “Out” not both.
“Over” is for when a return communication is expected and “Out” is used to conclude the communication.

11B40, DE EW1, K.
Strictly speaking, that would be correct. However, given the occasion maybe we should sign off with one of my favorite maritime allied tactical signals, “AD28!”
Which decoded to “Splice the mainbrace!”
And to translate for the landlubbers in the crowd, “Hoist the tankards high, in honor of a job well done!”
DE EW1, OUT.
