“Surprise, surprise. UCLA is back in the Final Four.
After flirting with trouble for two rounds, the top-seeded Bruins blitzed Xavier 76-57 Saturday to earn their third straight trip to the Final Four and record 18th overall.”
Congratulations to UCLA and Bruins fans everywhere.

Keep your eye on Maryland in the women’s tournament. They’re headed for another title.
Fear the turtle!

I hadn’t realized it until I watched the game, but UCLA has only one senior (maybe that’s only one senior in its starting lineup, I am not certain). Howland has done a great job with this team.

UCLA played a great second half, against a pretty much over-matched Xavier team. I picked the Bruins to win the whole thing, but they are going to have to play better than they have to beat Texas and the Tar Heels.
FWIW - The UNC vs. Lousville was one of the most fast-paced athletic games you will ever watch. Incredible pace. Incredible athletes.
