Well I was one of those former subscribers. I dropped my subscription after the L.A. Times ran a hit piece on Schwarzenegger's alleged serial bimbo groping the day before the California governor erection election. What a leftist tool ... the Times I mean, Schwarzenneger is a "moderate".

The problem with necrosis, things shrivel up and fall off. Which explains why the leftist rags have stood against every national defense action this country has ever taken.

The MetaStasisMedia, had a nice virulent run through our body politic for nearly 40 years.

They basically stole the information stream, then fed us all manner of infected propaganda,... pretty much unabated... until bloggers came along and started catching them in fauxtography, forged documents, plagiarized pieces, whole cloth fabrications and smear campaigns.

The Echo Chamber of OneWorld Socialists still drool at all the Pavlovian signals, but those who do not wish to remain brain dead (see, ie, David Mamet), nor to be spoon fed their opinions like little baby birds, ...are hurrying away in droves.

This thinning of the herd is terrifying to the OneWorld Socialists. The last goof they ran for President, actually turned to Charlie Gibson after a rare (horrors!) actual QUESTION, instead of the typical softball...and said "Charlie, are you doing their work for them now?"

If it's not a rigged game, the OneWorld Socialists don't like to play. If they can't own the information stream, (with all its tentacles, Hollywood, University Intelligentsia, NPR, AP, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and its foreign partners in crime, Reuters and the BBC), they simply blame the consumer.

The LA Times is a symptom of the disease.

And the OneWorld Socialists have a final last gasp of air, in attempting to prop up the Messiah of MetaStasis. The Swami of Socialism. Pope Populis I. Infallible, untouchable, irrepressible.

If he falls, they fall. Good riddance to the robber barons of the information stream. Good Night, Walter Cronkite...now, for the real story about the Tet Offensive.

In the interests of education for the poor children of LA, and in the noble cause of an informed electorate, we cannot allow the LAT to fail. Watch the CA legislature every day for news of a bill to either 1) bail out the LAT (a la Chrysler), or 2) purchase free copies of the paper that can be distributed at all California pet shops and kennels.

<i></i>Like the New York Times..... The LA Times had become an organ grinder of the extreme left. Passing off left wing political judgement on its readers as if they were lemmings with no minds.

The readers have had they say now and I can say that the LA Times has made a small step in balanced reporting this past few months.

But, even in those areas, I'll bet a dollar to a doughnut that the losses are much more "conservative" readers than "liberal" readers, as conservatives look elsewhere for their news...

Same problem in New Orleans, where the Times-Pick-your-nose has chosen to add conservative columnists to their editorial page, but, the articles are still very very pro-liberal...

And, I read it less and less....

<blockquote>Now I know why they really hate capitalism.</blockquote>

It's funny: a capitalist begins losing customers and immediately tries to figure out what is wrong with his product or what can he do to attract more customers.

A liberal newspaper begins losing customers and immediately chalks it up to being completely the fault of the customer.

S.F. Chron deserves its bad fate. I hope it shrivels up and dies.

It's full of Jew-haters, from top to bottom. They'll print any lie against Israelis.

They also sold a lot of papers by accusing a woman (Marjorie Knoeller) of having sex with her dog. It turns out: she's a liberal lawyer douchebag who, with her husband, also a liberal lawyer douche, was raising the dogs (Presa Canarios, big mean sons of bitches) on behalf of the Aryan Brotherhood gang, so they could be used by gang members to terrorize people. One of the dogs got loose and killed one of their neighbors. Like I said, two liberal lawyer douche bags.

But she wasn't screwing her dogs. Law enforcement knew there was no sex going on, and the Chron must have known, but they suggestively accused her anyway. To sell papers.

That's how low the paper is. Like I said: shrivel up and die, Chron! It doesn't deserve to exist.

And the L.A.T.: the same thing, except for the fake dog sex reporting.
