YouTube has video of Bill Clinton responding to pro-life student demonstrators in Ohio:
I think it hurts Hillary’s campaign when Bill Clinton becomes the story but it’s possible a strong pro-choice advocacy could help with some voters.
So does this help or hurt Hillary?
UPDATE 1: Apparently Fox News also wonders if Bill is helping or hurting.
UPDATE 2: Rand Simberg notes the irony of Democrats and former Clinton supporters who now see Bill as selfish and petty.

I think it hurts her in the longrun.

Bill just reminds dem primary voters of a dysfunctional marriage which they would just as soon forget. i cant say i blame them. the clinton machine, once invincible, is basically on its last leg.
james conrad (7cd809) — 2/18/2008 @ 10:09 amIt doesn’t necessarily hurt her – I suspect much of Hillary’s appeal comes from those who see her Presidency as Bill’s third term. That’s hardly unprecedented … unless you really think it was Lurleen Wallace making Alabama’s decisions from 1966 to 1968.

I guess Bill’s role in Hillary’s administration is that he will be the muscle. He’ll show up late at night, dressed in a black leather jacket, at your door and will yell and shake his finger at you until you agree to vote for Unirvesal Health Care.
