Bill Handel Hate Mail Update [Shameless Plug and Hate Speech Alert]

[guest post by Justin Levine]

For those of you who haven’t checked out the website recently, I have recently updated the page posting the ‘best’ (worst) hate mail to the Bill Handel Radio Show.

Read them at your own peril (or, read it for personal inspiration – if that is where your own taste proclivities happen to lie).   [Warning: Racist hate speech alert.]

For those who live outside of Southern California, you can check out the Handel podcasts here. If you have broadband, you can also check out our new ‘vodcasts’ at the site by clicking the ‘HOTN vodcast’ button under the ‘On Demand’ menu.

  1. This is great stuff. Stern used to read (and show) his hate mail on his old WOR Channel 9 and it had very similar themes. Handel is resonating, but there is a certain kind of listener that will never get the joke. Thanks for posting, and I will use the podcast feature, too.

  2. Well I think the one guy is right about the “view”. Really sometimes its like one big bush bashing party on the show. I’ve come to pretty much tune out anything Rich says because I already know it’s “Bush’s fault”. Even that halfwit Paul has joined in (really wtf is up with that guys wardrobe?).

Still enjoy the show, even when I disagree, even though I still think that they get half the facts wrong on a lot of stuff, I know they are working with limited time and are not a legit news agency.

  3. “Handel had long joked that he should have a voice mail system for groups that called demanding an apology, with prompts such as “Press 1 if you are African-American. Press 2 if you are Muslim.”

You got some classy friends Pat

  4. Now that would be some good radio. Those messages would be hilarious.

Blah, take a quarter and rent a sense of humor.

  5. I see Handel is still making “Koreans eat dog” jokes. Guess he didn’t get embarassed enough when my adopted daughter called him and told him off on the air about such jokes. She was only 4 at the time.
