How Old are You?

Filed under: Humor — DRJ @ 11:30 am

[Guest post by DRJ]

This website calculates how old you are based on your lifestyle choices and personal/family medical history. I have no idea if this is legitimate but it’s fun.

I’m 53 (actual age), 38 (“real age”) and 92 (projected life span).

UPDATE BY PATTERICO: I’m 39 (actual age), 32.4 (“real age”), with a projected life expectancy of 81.6.

You can expect to live approximately another 15500 more days.

Why, thank you!

UPDATE x2 BY PATTERICO: Results for the lovely Mrs. P.: actual age 39, real age 27.3, life expectancy 86.7.

  1. I commend you for what must be a healthy lifestyle, DRJ!

  2. Not really but I have relatives who live a long time. We think 90 is young.

  3. The test tells me that I died in 1988.

  4. So everything since then is gravy. Now that’s living.

  7. I’m 39 too, and I have been for years now.

  8. When all three of my kids were teenagers I felt like I was 103, but now two are in their twenties and the third is 19. I feel like I’m only 60 or so now!

  9. I’m in the same boat as Darleen and Hazy. With a 60-38-100, either the test was created by the same folks who brought you the ‘happy face’, or someone has stolen my better, younger body leaving the one that looks back wistfully from my mirror.

  10. This site will always tell you that you are older than your actual age. They’re selling snake oil to make you younger.

  11. It is interesting to play with the sliders a bit. Add some exercise, lose some weight, lower stress, eat better, see if it makes a difference.

I showed five years younger than my actual. Knocked off another 10 by moving the sliders. If I actually follow through, I could live a lot longer.

    Nice program.
