  2. If you’ve seen ‘The Children of Men’ you have glimpsed the future…….Keep up the good work, American voters. Soon you can be enjoying
our own High Chancellor, Adam Sutler.

  3. Anything from Hollywood’s clowns you care to point out as a prediction which came true, Semanticleo?

  4. NK;

    WTF are you on about?

    Semanticleo (4741c2)

  5. That was my question to you.

  6. Seen the movie? if so, then the parallels should be self-evident.

  7. I saw glimpses of it as my wife was watching it. It totally sucks. And as for Hollywood being the modern Delphi and the clowns who work there the new Pythias, that’s just for … well … morons.

  8. Although there is some parallel. The Pythia was smoking some kind of hallucenic weed when she made her predictions.

  9. “It totally sucks.”

I disagree. I would guess that you liked the final episode of ‘Sopranos’.

  10. With your permission and begging your forgiveness, Patterico.
    Fuck you too, Semanticleo.

  11. Is there a problem? I’ll chalk it up to the absence of commenters on your opinion.

  12. Only sheep need fellow bleaters.

  13. I think I’m the commenter on NK’s blog with the most posts…

    I have about 12 or so…

  14. I thought he was talking about my opinion here, Scott. As for my blog, he can read my Terms Of Use. 😉

  15. Nice whizzing contest, you two. And I thought this was the comment section for a post about Geller’s continuing fraud. But what the heck…

Children of Men was really bad, and hardly prophetic. If you think that’s an indication of our future, how did you respond to The Island, or Aeon Flux? Aren’t those equally valid snapshots of what the world is coming to? Yeah, I didn’t think so either.

  16. “how did you respond to The Island, or Aeon Flux?”

    More whizz?
