A topic after my own heart…
Justin Levine (20f2b5) — 7/9/2007 @ 8:53 amIf you’ve seen ‘The Children of Men’ you have glimpsed the future…….Keep up the good work, American voters. Soon you can be enjoying
Semanticleo (4741c2) — 7/9/2007 @ 9:08 amour own High Chancellor, Adam Sutler.
Anything from Hollywood’s clowns you care to point out as a prediction which came true, Semanticleo?
nk (7c00c1) — 7/9/2007 @ 9:19 amNK;
WTF are you on about?
Semanticleo (4741c2) — 7/9/2007 @ 9:28 amThat was my question to you.
nk (7c00c1) — 7/9/2007 @ 9:41 amSeen the movie? if so, then the parallels should be self-evident.
Semanticleo (4741c2) — 7/9/2007 @ 9:44 amI saw glimpses of it as my wife was watching it. It totally sucks. And as for Hollywood being the modern Delphi and the clowns who work there the new Pythias, that’s just for … well … morons.
nk (37e215) — 7/9/2007 @ 10:01 amAlthough there is some parallel. The Pythia was smoking some kind of hallucenic weed when she made her predictions.
nk (37e215) — 7/9/2007 @ 10:04 am“It totally sucks.”
I disagree. I would guess that you liked the final episode of ‘Sopranos’.
Semanticleo (4741c2) — 7/9/2007 @ 10:08 amWith your permission and begging your forgiveness, Patterico.
nk (37e215) — 7/9/2007 @ 10:18 amFuck you too, Semanticleo.
Is there a problem? I’ll chalk it up to the absence of commenters on your opinion.
Semanticleo (4741c2) — 7/9/2007 @ 10:22 amOnly sheep need fellow bleaters.
nk (37e215) — 7/9/2007 @ 10:26 amI think I’m the commenter on NK’s blog with the most posts…
I have about 12 or so…
Scott Jacobs (90eabe) — 7/9/2007 @ 10:28 amI thought he was talking about my opinion here, Scott. As for my blog, he can read my Terms Of Use. 😉
nk (37e215) — 7/9/2007 @ 10:31 amNice whizzing contest, you two. And I thought this was the comment section for a post about Geller’s continuing fraud. But what the heck…
Children of Men was really bad, and hardly prophetic. If you think that’s an indication of our future, how did you respond to The Island, or Aeon Flux? Aren’t those equally valid snapshots of what the world is coming to? Yeah, I didn’t think so either.
Freelancer (954ff2) — 7/9/2007 @ 3:53 pm“how did you respond to The Island, or Aeon Flux?”
More whizz?
>idiot>
Semanticleo (4741c2) — 7/9/2007 @ 4:42 pmOMG! Shaklee. It figures
Semanticleo (4741c2) — 7/9/2007 @ 5:39 pmAt least we know that the lawyers are more costly than the spoons.
PCachu (e072b7) — 7/9/2007 @ 6:37 pmURI GELLER another one of these wackos who is slowly starving becuase he is bending too many of his silverware and cant eat
krazy kagu (d25348) — 7/10/2007 @ 7:02 amBrilliant headline, Pat.
