NYT: Vermin-Infested
The New York Times building is infested with maggots and other nasty vermin.
And I’m not just talking about Bill Keller and Maureen Dowd.

Patterico, you are funny~! Great tease, it’s why I come to your site.
TimesDisliker (a8230e) — 7/7/2007 @ 6:55 amWell, some people like to be close to their “kind”, no? Vermin to vermin, I feel sorry for the maggots.
Sue (fa8402) — 7/7/2007 @ 7:19 amI suspect they’ll just move. Uber Liberals screw up a place and then move on to where life is good and repeat the process.
Much like the exodus form California to Oregon and Washington. And now to the Rockies as well.
jpm100 (44e950) — 7/7/2007 @ 8:29 amI suspect maggots and vermin would sue you for slander by associating them with the staff of the NY Times.
Thomas Jackson (bf83e0) — 7/7/2007 @ 8:47 am[…] HT: Patterico […]
“One of the photo editors was sitting at her desk and maggots started falling from the ceiling tile on to her head” at Conservative Times--Republican GOP news source. (2430bd) — 7/7/2007 @ 9:31 amAnd I’m not just talking about Bill Keller and Maureen Dowd.
No,Pinch is there too.
Bill M (0379bc) — 7/7/2007 @ 9:53 amSounds like a family reunion!
daleyrocks (5a4736) — 7/7/2007 @ 10:37 amMaggots are found where there is decaying matter. The only question is why anyone would be surprised.
Ken (fcd61d) — 7/7/2007 @ 11:08 amHow ironic. The New York Times, forever lecturing American business how to treat their employees, subjects its own workers to third world working conditions.
Perfect Sense (b6ec8c) — 7/7/2007 @ 11:30 amThe New York Times building is infested with maggots and other nasty vermin.
And the rest of New York City isn’t?
nk (d0f918) — 7/7/2007 @ 11:44 amThe Daily Doubter takes issue with your vile comment Patterico.
Indeed. What’s the harm in having a little class in our disputes?
Psyberian (9a155b) — 7/8/2007 @ 10:47 amMy wife subscribes to the New York Times. She has been on vacation for the last week or so while I stayed home to redo the kitchen. So for the second Sunday morning in a row I had the great pleasure of picking up the fish wrap from the front steps and depositing it directly into the trash.

Suffering fools gladly is not a virtue. Or letting somebody piss on your back and tell you it’s raining. Some people you just gotta tell them “Go f**k yourselves”.
nk (7c00c1) — 7/8/2007 @ 11:17 amActually, nk, the New York Post put it best a few months ago, when commenting on the rat-infested KFC. According to them, Bloomberg found the inspectors to enforce the trans-fat ban and other trendy new health “problems” by pulling half the inspectors off such standard health department issues as vermin control. “Mr. Mayor, we respectfully request you get a handle on the health crises from the 19th century before inventing new ones for the 21st.”
SDN (4db148) — 7/8/2007 @ 11:25 amIndeed there are worms at the core of the BIG ROTTEN APPLE and the biggist and nastists worms are in the NEW YORK TIMES and the biggist of all those maggots is mayor MICHEAL BLOOMBURG
krazy kagu (d0aa80) — 7/8/2007 @ 11:51 amThanks SDN #14. Although as an adopted Chicagoan I must confess to a little bit of a bias. 😉
nk (7c00c1) — 7/8/2007 @ 12:46 pmActually the maggots and vermin are just a material manifestation of the spiritual darkness that inhabits that building. Pretty obvious.
Corona (566e8b) — 7/8/2007 @ 9:11 pmCan we attribute this to karma?
Dana (3e4784) — 7/9/2007 @ 3:55 amWells being a bird i eats maggots and worms SQUAWK SQUAWK SMACK BURP
