I love that LAW is writing these stories now, as Tony Villar begs for another billion dollars of our money from Washington for similar anti-gang programs.

Much better than the straight-leftist owners that used to own them. I was always sad that the New Times lost out to the L.A. Weekly in the alternative press wars. I’d rather have them both. But I thought that if only one is viable in Los Angeles, the New Times was much better. Now its just like having the New Times back (only it happens to be called the L.A. Weekly on its masthead). Very satisfying.
