From that source, the quoted statement is more than a colorable basis for a claim of self-defense.

  2. I guess the justice system and the victims are the right people to screw with.

  3. When I saw that quote, my first thought was, he’s not the only one who screwed with the wrong guy.

  4. I take it that they decided that using OJ’s race in this instance wasn’t a good way to go?

(via their claim that it was because of his race that he was asked to leave)

  5. Too bad this is news and not just routine. What are the other million restaurant owners thinking? OJ should have to wear a mask to get food at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

  6. The race thing didn’t seem reasonable because Michael Jordan’s party took the table. See the “previously” link at the target site.

  7. Doesn’t Kato pick up the food at the drive thru window?

  8. *chuckles*

Well, if you define race as “Former NFL Star who gets away with murder”, than sure it was about race…

  9. A black man, widely believed — by at least a preponderance of the evidence — to have slaughtered two white people, is denied service at a restaurant, and it’s the restaurateur who can be assumed to be a racist?
