Al Masri Dead?
Has Abu Ayyub al Masri, the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq and Zarqawi’s successor, been killed? Like Zarqawi, his death has been reported before. Still, it’s a possibility. I first read about it from See Dubya. Teflon Don and Bill Roggio are also hard on the story.

htom (412a17) — 5/2/2007 @ 6:18 amI’m curious how the Army’s censoring of military blogs affects Teflon and Badger 6:

AF (d700ef) — 5/2/2007 @ 8:04 amAF, go fuck yourself… Go masturbate to your idiocy somewhere else…
Funny… Doesn’t sound like anything I’ve read or witnessed from a single US soldier.
You sir, are a god damn retard.
Have words/thoughts of your own, or don’t post, k?
I’d rather read moronic crap that comes from you than I would if it’s just moronic crap you read somewhere else, cut and pasted…
I bet you’re the asshole at work that sends to every employee those stupid chain letters and “But you didn’t know” ‘fact’ e-mails…

Just like you bet that I was an bitter old nerd who was never invited to parties in college. Here’s a hint: It’s not good to bet if you suck at it.
You’ve never explained WHY AF’s cut-and-paste style pisses you off so much. Why? I’m dying to know…
Is it because you can’t hit him for spelling errors when his links lay waste to your malformed quasi-thoughts regarding current events?
Leviticus (43095b) — 5/2/2007 @ 11:41 amffs…
It pisses me off because it containe so very, very little original thought.
What use is it to do NOTHING but post links and cut and paste articles when you don’t actually add anything to it?
It demonstrates a lack of any independant thought.
Just like your condemnation of the boys from the Duke (non)Rape Case demonstartes that you’re a massive tool…
Scott Jacobs (a1de9d) — 5/2/2007 @ 12:04 pm“It pisses me off because it contains so very, very little original thought.”
Do you mean that the original thought isn’t mine? True enough. But there’s plenty of origninal thought. And you won’t find those particular thoughts anywhere else on this blog. No one else links to Marc Lynch or ArabLinks, or for that matter in to anyone fluent in arabic.
AF (d700ef) — 5/2/2007 @ 12:54 pmI take credit for linking, that’s all; as Patterico takes credit for linking to Teflon Don and Badger 6, but not for their posts.
I don’t pretend to be an expert.
The one thing I do sometimes (and which pushes it a bit, I know) is to toss something in that’s a tangent to the post. If that’s all I did it would be a bit much.
AF (d700ef) — 5/2/2007 @ 12:58 pmI’ve done it wice recently, and that’s enough for a while.
How about when you do that, you add a little exposition. A little bit about where your head is on the subject (aside from where we already know it is, I mean). If I went and checked your last, say, 30 posts I wager the VAST majority would have less than two sentences of orignial thought from you.
Scott Jacobs (e3904e) — 5/2/2007 @ 2:45 pmIt seems that the guy killed was Muharib Abdul Latif al-Jubouri, the “senior minister of information” for al Qaeda in Iraq.
