Don’t stone me, conservatives, but I think Stephen Colbert is pretty funny sometimes. And those who love to run down the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office might just agree with me after viewing this old chestnut from the Daily Show:

Colbert is funny. Conservatives can have a sense of humor even when it’s their ox being gored.

Colbert, next to Dennis Miller, is the smartest comedian on tv, and if you watch him enough, you find he’s fairly impartial with his jabs, unlike Stewart…whose tired Bush-hatred has long since ceased to be remotely funny, and whose audience simply isn’t capable of keeping up with Colbert’s level of irony anyway.
