Oh, BTW, do you folks remember something about a chlorine gas explosion in Iraq? Apparently it wasn’t just some industrial explosion, but a (ssshhhhhh!!) chemical weapon attack. I wonder if that is the first military use of poison gas against US troops since WW-I.

BTW #2 Here is a story that was sent to me, I’m giving you the snopes reference. It seems Walter Reed Hospital is not getting ready to be entirely condemned, just one of 66 buildings, I guess.

Patterico, it seems you are not alone in your “disappointment” (anger?, rage?) about the Bush administration unable to defend itself. Even the Army Chaplain Corps is fed up.
If I was a conspiracy theorist, I’d think Karl Rove was a Democrat plant or a defector. The Whitehouse staff seems to be inept at so many things these days, I don’t know why the Dems want to remove his chief of staff. Seriously, I don’t know Mr. Rove and maybe he is a brilliant man of honor and integrity and has no responsibility for much of this nonsense. But somebody(s) bear some responsibility.
