Remember Eliot Stein, the guy who cybersquatted on cathyseipp.com? The guy who, while Cathy was dying, wrote a “letter” purporting to be from Cathy, in which “Cathy” called her daughter a “skank” and herself a “hack” and a terrible parent?
Remember that guy?

I haven’t had a chande to mention this yet but there’s a rather well-known (at least in film circles) critic named Elliot Stein who THIS Elliot Stein would very likely not care to be confused with at all.

I’m glad you liked it. Stein is a monster and deserves no mercy for what he did. One cannot take too lightly the emotional damage that he may have caused Seipp’s family at the absolute worst time. He has a superiority complex and I wanted to take him down a notch. If he was fighting a terminal illness I wouldn’t have done it.

I had never heard of this remarkable women before a few days ago. What is obvious is that she was well beloved by all who knew her. I think we give Stein and his ilk far too much credit. I would be very surprised if someone as thoughtful and talented as Cathy Seipp had raised a daughter who was any less talented or capable. Stein had a lot of sand kicked in his face as a kid. Not enough, but he is a joke. The pay back is truely spectacular.
