I think we need to tell them to re-do their constitution to eliminate any place for Islam or Islamists in it. They need to throw al-Sadr out of the gov't (and to the hangman) and waste his and others' militas until they get the point.

War is a messy business that just gets messier and longer the harder you try to make it neat and clean. Better to keep it short by making it nasty as HELL and the enemy begs for peace!</description>

		<description>I have come (from the right) to the opinion that the invasion was a bad idea.  But that the occupation and "nation building" and definition of victory as stable, free Iraq is much worse.  At this point, a time-table withdrawal makes the most sense.  We still have lots of power and can influence things, but we need to get over the view that we can control everything, that we can make people live our dream.  If they want to, great.</description>
