What Patterico doesn’t tell you is that if someone on the left were to comb through the paper like he does, they would find just as much to criticize. So you are only getting one side of the story here at best.

What Psyberian doesn’t tell you is that I have invited lefties to do the same, and it never seems to happen. Media Matters, with its team of people, rarely or never comes up with effective criticism of the Times from the left.

Like a compassionate nurse scraping away years of foul cement from an impacted colon, Patterico gives the LA Times a chance to renew itself. True journalists are supposed to keep government straight.

If the Times pursued nothing more than mediocrity, it would be a giant step towards reform.

“Why Can’t the MSM Be More Like Rush?”

After your one attempt to dispute particular points in the article (post 51), which was a case of either lying or amazingly bad reading comprehension, predictably you now avoid discussing specifics and instead characterize Patterico’s alleged mindset.

Seems like every Times critique he’s done has had someone like you – attacking him for it without (accurately) pointing out what’s wrong with it. If you can’t provide any valid criticisms of the specifics then your characterizations are without any substance – basically just an ad hominem attack.
