Excellent News!
There is a new post from Beldar.
I was very concerned about him in recent months, and sent him numerous e-mails, even going so far as to leave a phone message for him at work.
I never got any response. I feared the worst.
I’m thrilled to see he’s doing okay, and at least thinking about blogging again.
UPDATE: And another post! I’m highlighting it in a new post but it’s also worth an update.
whoo hoo! yippee! Thanks Patterico for noting this!
kimsch (127da6) — 11/24/2006 @ 6:08 pmI was worried, too, given his health-related posts shortly before he stopped blogging. I sent emails and tried to come up with an excuse to call, so this is welcome news.
DRJ (0df497) — 11/24/2006 @ 7:24 pmThat’s good news, maybe he came come out with more high-quality posts like this one. (For those who need a reference, this is satire).
TLB (05c6a0) — 11/24/2006 @ 8:06 pmAh! I’m glad he’s back.
I’d given up checking months ago. Thanks for your perseverance, Patterico.
Darleen (03346c) — 11/24/2006 @ 9:46 pmNo need for perseverance. He’s in my top list of RSS feeds and always will be.
Patterico (de0616) — 11/24/2006 @ 9:50 pmThanks for the tip. He was one of the first bloggers I ever read, the conduit by which I arrived here at Patterico, and was extremely gracious and helpful when I contacted him for help with a law school assignment. I’ve missed his writing. Glad to see he’s back.

Yes, the Miers nomination contributed mightily to to sagging GOP fortunes. But it was because she was a nespotic, unqualified pick apt to become another Souter. Afterwards, it was difficult for many of us to ever fully trust Bush again.
