John Kerry Makes A Funny
John Kerry has done it again. Let’s go to the transcript:
JOHN KERRY: How do you get a one-armed American soldier out of a tree?
BEFUDDLED AUDIENCE MEMBER: Uh, I don’t know.
JOHN KERRY: Wave to him.
BEFUDDLED AUDIENCE MEMBER: [Laughs nervously.]
UPDATE: This just in . . . according to his prepared remarks, Kerry meant to ask: “How do you get an incompetent one-armed President like George Bush out of a tree?”
The New York Times is reporting that, when Kerry delivered the remarks, he forgot to say the word “incompetent.”
[Disclaimer: post may not actually be true.]
UPDATE x2: He has done it again.
[…] And in other news, it just keeps getting worse and worse for Kerry. […]
